37s are a minimum on a 4dr. Almost te same as running 33s on a TJ

Can't wait to go I'm on 35's and 5" and locked so I'm not worried. What are the chances of breaking something major like an axel shaft? I understand the risks and am aware that something can always get broken on even the little trails. I know from experience however I do not have a ton of money for a fix like that right now more do I have a secondary vehicle to drive to school and such.

So 35's on a four door with 2.5 lift won't cut it?

No, you'll be fine. It's just kind of a stab at the breakover angle on a JK unlimited. 37" tires used to be considered pretty big but on a 4 door JK it's almost necessary to play with the 2 door JKs and older models. But they shine in other areas

Oh shoot Ed I forgot to mention the no bitching clause. I guess I will have to let that one slip. LOL

Now on 4 door JK there are places that you can go that a TJ can't and the same that a TJ can go places you can't too. Besides that is what winches and tow straps are for.

Getting the lift installed as we speak. But I gotta get the front drive shaft replaced now. So I don't think chinaman would be a good shake down run. Maybe china wall lol

Damn! I would love to go! But Breckenridge resort is closing the 14th and there will be an amazing party/concert at the peak 8 base area. I'll be on runs consistently after that!

I just spent the last two days at keystone. Pretty good conditions. Gonna try to get out once next week and once the week after then I'll prolly call the season.

As for this trail run I'm gonna try to go. But funds for snowboarding are more important so we will see

Let me know next time you're coming up! Despite a bum shoulder, I plan to get a few more days on the mountain!

Sounds good I'm thinking next week I'll prolly end up at monarch or cooper taking the girlfriends little brother, not to sure how good he is. But I'll prolly hit keystone the week after

I have a similar setup. If you have a full set of skids you will be fine. I drag my jeep over lots of stuff.

What do you mean minimum? Because 4dr has a long wheel base?

32" minimum tires and some kind of lift. 35's on a JK are plenty. Danny just thinks he has to have the 37's.

This is not your average easy trail. It has it moments that will give you a good challenge. I put these recommendations out there for a reason. If you show up with a stock rig and want to run it, fine. Just don't complain to me or any one else that this was worse than you thought.

Probably a little too much for my stock Rubi so I'll pass. I know I could make it through but without damage is the key. The runs I've joined you guys know I'm a baby lol.

Let me know what you're thinking. I'm even open to coming down to the Springs area as all the trails I've been to have been west or northwest of Denver. haven't ventured south yet.
