This tread is only for "Who's Coming" and where to meet. We will all be meeting in Johnson's Village 2 miles south east of Buena Vista. We will be meeting at the Gunsmoke Truck Stop on the south side of the highway. It is just past the bridge that goes over the Arkansas River. It is number 1 on this map

We will be want to be there by 10:00am with a plan of hitting the trail head by 10:30am. Once you get there please go ahead and get your rig ready for the trail. Air down and disconnect you sway bars and anything else you would normally would do. The trail head is about 2 miles from the Gunsmoke down a dirt road. That way once we get to the trail we can be ready to go.

Bring a lunch or snacks for the trail. This trail can take close to 6 hours or so to complete.

If you are coming from Denver area you will want to come up on Hwy 285. I-70 has road construction just before Idaho Springs and there are delays. Chad will set up the meeting place and time of departure.

We need someone from Colorado Springs to also set up a meeting place and departure time.

Lets try to keep this page only for who is coming and meeting places and hook ups too.

Lastly as stated in the original April Fools run page, this is a trail that is not recommended for stock vehicles. I would suggest a lift and at least 32" tires. You do not need lockers to get through this trail either. If you are on an obstacle and do not feel comfortable, don't do it. There are obstacles that must be done to get through the trail. Trust your spotters and have fun.

After we are all done with the trail and we Fix Danny's Jeep LOL Just kidding, we can all get together at the Coyote Cantina for stories and food.

See you all on Sunday.

Quick weather report. 1" of snow on the grass but the roads are just wet. Weather shows that the snow/rain is moving out. Once the sun comes out the snow will melt fast. Trail will be just fine. We will just say it will keep the dust down. Highs projected to be in the high 40's to low 50's

See you at the Gunsmoke
