Should be fine to drive it, but if you want to pull it you can. I'm gonna rip mine all apart tomorrow to fix that steering box

That goat trail was definitely a blast, and a quick way to see how capable that lift is....we had a great time, and it was great seeing some familiar faces and meeting new people.... It was so nice to be able to get out on a run and not having to worry about school. We'll get our pics up soon!

Welcome aboard!
It was great meeting you too. Sorry about the lead today. Just so you know we should have went right at that fork in the road at the start. Had fun though and its hard to learn how to swim if you afraid to get wet.
Glad you came out.

Not that I can see. It looks like it was seeping down and then getting thrown. The spray pattern is a straight line, so it's not going everywhere. I will have to get under there with a flash light tomorrow.

Yup very similar. I think Chad was just jealous that he didn't make the wrong turn with the rest of us the first go around....

Here's some pics I snapped off this morning of the drive shaft. It doesn't look like it's trash, but it does look like it's headed that way.

https://plus.google.com/u/0/11347743...ts/AyA9kALhHNC

And for the record, I didn't "crash" into a tree. I parked behind the tree and it refused to get out of my way when I decided to start heading up the trail again. I believe my exact statement was, "I think I'm hung up on something?"

Looks like it just got a work out and that the grease worked it's way down the spline. I am not a JK guy but it doesn't look like much to worry abut to me.
Maybe post those pics on the JK forum section and see what they say

Nah your fine to drive on that man, it just got hot and seeped a bit, that's normal.
And that part with being hung up was pretty funny. That part took a bit from both of us lol

That's good to know. I guess I read too many forums that say, "You see grease, it's trash!" hahaha. I know Angie wasn't thrilled with paying for a new one. At least not yet.... After all, I need to get that front bumper replaced. I think someone backed into me and didn't leave a note...
