ok i was wondering if anyone has been over black bear and how bad it is i have a 93 wrangler with 2.5inches of lift and 31s is that enough to get over it i am pretty experienced any info would be great thanks
it is not technically challenging....it is mentally challenging. sharp turns and straight drops.....you can make if you don't freak out. just remember the seat covers will get wedged so bring some soft ones.......LOL
Saw a video on YouTube from a guy driving over it in a stock rental Jeep. If you know how to drive your Jeep and properly use things like 4-Lo you shouldn't have any problem from what I have seen. I have never been over it myself. Lots of videos on YouTube. It looks like there is one section that is off camber on an extremely narrow bit next to a drop off for pucker factor and another portion where people are saying the few rock steps are about 12" high. After that some switch backs where you have to even back up a 2 door Jeep to get around. I don't think you would have any problem as long as your Wrangler is well maintained.
I drive a JKUR. Everywhere I look I see places I want to drive up, over, or through.
cool thanks guys i guess when the snow clears off i will have to try it im just ready for any kind of wheeling
Where do you live at if your afraid of heights or worried about the cliffs try doing mt baldy off of old stage road. I think it's road co67 or maybe it's co69
it has a decent cliff that will help you ease into the driving next to a cliff.
