Black Friday

Still in the early stages of planning, but anyone interested in running Cumberland Gulch and Yankee Hill on Friday while all the mall crawlers are trampling each other to death?

All the trails planned for Friday are a ways from the house... Might hang around the springs and hit the shelf road over in cripple creek and wind my way back to the springs through the mountains via gold camp road, bull park, mount baldy, etc.

Where have you guys met at to run Yankee Hill? I've only run it once and we were already on other trails and just hopped over to it....
I'm up for suggestions on time and place to meet up Friday morning

How about the cemetery at midnight? Otherwise 10 would be fine. Chad I assume you're working that evening?

No but it's getting close. Cutting a jigsaw puzzle out of 3/8x5 steel really sucks...

I may be in. I did Yankee Hill this weekend and it was in good shape and no snow. I think we've met at the Starbucks off exit 241 in Idaho Springs for other runs in that area.

That's the one. Such a quaint little place

Chad and anyone coming from the Boulder area and east would have to do a lot of backtracking I think. Also that's close to the trailhead.

Cemetery works good for us northerners. Good central place close to the TH. plenty of room for air down. And no Ed I'm off after tonight.

I'm looking forward to this since its been awhile since I've gotten to run a trail with you guys....
