It has its rough spots due to erosion but its relatively easy... Beautiful area and a lot of changes in rock types.

nah, its not too hard to find...its not too difficult of a trail, either. I would personally have no worry running it solo so i think you'll be fine

If you take FR 379 by Rosemont Reservoir it give you a nice back country drive thru mountains and valleys and drops you right at Bull Park. Or you can turn right to the closed reservoirs and end up at same trailhead...not sure of FR #.
