Get a wet sander and clean up the edges and leave off that trim like I did. Then spend that fender money on a locker

That's what I'd do at least, instead of spending all that money on more plastic

I know. That's what I should do. My locker regear project is going to be about $2600 for regear, locking the rear, and install. That's a long ways off and will require a new job first.

Yea, I hear you on cost. I'd be happy to help install them. If you are that tired of the ones you have what is the difference in price for an aluminum or tube style flat fender? At least than it would not only look better but also offer a ton of support. Not knocking your choice, that is just my mindset.

I think tube fenders look better. IMO.

Ya they are cool. Some I like but, they are around $1100 for a set minimum.

Check out the Smittybilt XRC Fenders. They're what I would get if I was going to switch my fenders. They're steel so they're strong and you can get them for $250-270 for a set of 4

I think Dan-Wanderlust runs them on his rig

Well I ordered the bushwackers. Trying to decide how painful the install will be. I've heard horror stories.
