Camping in Summit or Eagle County

Looking for some good spots to camp this weekend near Breckenridge, staying in summit county so that a fire is possible. Eagle county also looks to be ok for having a fire, so anything around 10th mountain would be good too. Does anyone know of any good spots around there? Looking for something next to a stream if at all possible.

Tiger road out of breck. North fork and middle fork of the swan. Depends on what kind of stream though, not exactly fly fishing territory up there but LOTs of jeep trails and some small streams.

Peru Creek near Montezuma is another option.

Both are close to the Blue and Snake rivers which offer better fishing if that's what you're looking for. I'm just guessing that's what you're thinking.

Gonna be busier than normal 4th since we are having fireworks and no fire ban.

Good luck.

I'd check out Peru Creek then. There's one site off to the right where you drive through the creek and then set up camp on a little peninsula.

We ended up camping off deer creek. Found a great spot right next to some beaver ponds.

Thanks for the recommendations.
