China wall

Wheeled china wall today, pretty dry did it with the new stock rubi unlimited. Did the all the hard lines in the stocker only managed to scratch the plastic bumper. Good times with Dan and will, drew was missed... Lol

That's interesting, I can think of a dozen lines you couldn't do in a stocker. How'd you manage that?

Ditto, Danny told me what you have in mind. It sounds like you're going to have a really fine rig.

Sorry if I'm being pissy, that statement just hit me wrong. I'm going to be down at least until april and it's not sitting real well.

I know how that feels, been down the last 2 months and hasn't been fun

sold the tj to my brother, third kid is on the way and wasn't going to fit in the tj.

it was a lot of slow going to keep it of the rocks plus Dan spotted.

I have to say that I was amazed what spotting and slow careful driving can do. He isn't kidding, did 98% of the lines I did. Even did the wall. Only thing he didn't do was a couple of the big rock gardens to the sides o the trail.

That would have been impressive to watch. The alternate lines on that trail are not very forgiving on clearance. Hope you'll be willing to spot me when I'm ready to do Penrose. My worst bad habit is leaping before I look.

I wish. My jeep is in so many pieces it's not even funny. Rear axle is connected to the links and drive shaft. That's it. With the new spring lift I have no more adjustment left in the links so I'm dead until I get the three link finished. Front is in the same state. New axle is in basement where I'm setting up crossover steering and trying to get a track bar set up that won't throw me out of the jeep with bumpsteer.

Check back in May, I should be ready then...

Noted. You're suspension should be nice and dialed in for Penrose. I'm hoping to re-gear by then. That should make the trail a bit more fun.

This whole suspension thing is geared to Penrose, the Montrose trails, and if I get bored taking a crack at Carnage If I'm going to do rocks I'm going to do rocks...

I was in awe looking at the carnage exit a few Weeks ago. freaking unreal. Indy is on my hit list, but that's about as far as I think I'm willing to take my dd. Anything past that will have to be my project Jeep. look forward to seeing what you come up with Ed.

You'll be back together long before I am, how long can it take to put on some fenders?

I'm basically replacing everything below the frame. please, some one, explain to me why this is such a good idea, cuz I'm really starting to wonder 'what the f*** am I doing?'

It makes everything that much better!!! There is nothing stock on mine below the frame and not a lot left above.

Haha. I prefer driving out. I can never remember which trail is which but down the one with the big drops then out the longest one.

I think that's the exit for Independence, but I'm not sure. But if I remember right you have to winch out over the last rock but since you do the left side of the Whale Tail with aplomb you probably won't need a winch to get out

That's the hard way! I was able to crawl out of the exit last time without winching but I want to do liberty this time.
