If you didn't recalibrate your speedo better check against a gps. With 4.88's and 35's that would work out to more like 60mph

Im looking into going with deeper gears also thinking 5.13. Do you have the auto, if so is that with the overdrive off or on. I do like 30 miles hwy daily driving and havent found too much info about regear with the auto. It would be nice to pass people at will on 25.

A hemi conversion would also do the job...

Gears are a trade off. Yes, it will accelerate faster but unless he's willing to run four to five thousand rpm he'll max out about 70. Jeeps aren't built for speed. If he wants a hot rod then he should buy a hot rod.

Weather

The forecast up here is not looking good and the NWS keeps bumping it up. Right now they're talking a good possibility of four to eight inches. If that does happen the run's cancelled.

What about rainbow falls? Is that a good area to run in the snow?

I think with the snow that was already there a couple of weeks ago it probably wouldn't take a lot more to make it a day of running winch cable no matter where we went. a couple of inches would probably be OK but much more than that and it would be a little more interesting than I would care for personally.

she's the one that slid down the hill backwards last time. As good of a wheeler as she is, I'm driving. Honestly its not the snow as much as the temp. Just not into pulling winch line in cold snowy weather. If I liked to be cold I would be on a sled and not a heated Jeep.

I don't understand how y'all are so slow (no offense) but I do 90 down I 25 with 4:11's and a 6 speed and I'm only around 3500rpm and can pass pretty easy. I'm looking to re gear eventually but not if it's gonna knock me down to like 70 max speed
