CO2 Powertank Refill Locations

I'm leaving the Denver metro area to go camping/Jeep'n and will be out near Leadville, Buena Vista, Fairplay, and the Breckenridge area. Does anyone know of a Jeep Shop, Beverage Place, or Welding Supply place where you can get your CO2 Powertank Refilled?

I'll check online but thought I'd post here in case any Jeepers know of a confirmed place that will refill your CO2 Powertank.

I called Tomken 4x4 in Buena Vista. Super nice folks there. Unfortunately they do not refill CO2 Powertanks. They are going to ask around and call me back. If I get some updated info from them I'll post it here.

Not sure where you are located right now, but the Brewhut in Aurora fills them (right about $20)

Thanks for the info. I live out in Evergreen. I normally drive to High Country 4x4 for my tank refills. They charge about $15.00 per ten (10) lbs of CO2. I just topped off my 10 and 20 lb tanks the other day and they only charged me 13 bucks! They must have given me a discount. This summer I've been getting my tank refilled every other week.

We should make a list of places to get your tanks refilled when we are out in the high country.

Might also see if there is a fire extinguisher company in the area. They fill our tanks for our smoke machine fairly cheaply.
