Ok sounds good. Let me think of where would be easiest to meet and I'll get back to you tomorrow.

I'm prolly just gonna bring stuff to make sandwiches for lunch. But I'm not sure yet what are you thinking.

And I won't cross anything too deep prolly not anything that will go as high as my wheels. Puddles I don't mine but streams scare me.

We'll get you over that fear haha...i'll cross anything as long as it isnt over my hood since i dont have a snorkel (and never will, at least not on a daily driver)....

I'm game for anything else though!

And lunch...not sure, never thought that far ahead. I'm thinkin i'll just grab somethin like subway on the way there or possibly make somethin as well and just throw it in the jeep...maybe pack the cooler and put it in the back as well but not sure on that either.

Yeah, just let me know where to meet and i'll be there...what time you thinkin?

I might do subway to since it's so cheap but idk yet.

And as for meeting places I'm trying to think of s close gas station so we both can top off before heading up the mountain. I kno of a 7/11 that's about 10 miles from the start of gold camp let me find some directions all I'll let you kno.

As for time. I say the earlier the better but your the one who has to drive an hour and a half. I was thinking like 1030 meet up but I'm ok with anything.

And is that other guy going with or no

K...i'll answer in order lol

1. The 7/11 is just fine...i filled up last night though so i'll be fine since theres no way we'll tackle 300 miles (what i get on a tank). Figured gas in the springs would be more expensive than here so filled up when i was on my way home from the bar last night.

2. 1030 is just fine. I'll probably get up around 830 and take my dogs out n wake up a little before rollin out anyway...just need the address of the place or at least what road its on so i can look it up on google. No it doesnt look like the Xterra is going.

3. I dont...i lent them to a friend in Iowa and forgot to get them back before i moved to Denver. I might pick up a new set when i go out and run some errands though so i'll let you know if i do that. These trails arent rated high so i'm not worried about either of us getting stuck though, i'm sure we'll be good either way.

Thats fine...i'll snap a few as well so no worries...

I might try and paint my top today as well as my mirrors, sway bar cover, and lightly tint my brake lights and corner lights

How in the hell do you you get 300 a tank I get 180 Max

And I'll get you the address in a little I'm at lunch right now.

I might pick up some tow straps two just in-case I'd rather have them and not need them.

Why are you putting them off?

my next investments are... from first to last. new bumpers and rock guards, then 1 inch body lift, new shocks mine are kinda old, 37 inch tires, d44 for the front since i have one in back, near gear ratio (not sure what size yet) and a set of ARB front and rear lockers

Good deal, i'll map it out and see what the time estimate is...

And i dont wanna ride because i wanna paint a few things on the jeep today and just kinda relax. Its my first saturday i didnt have to work the morning in awhile.

You're not going to be able to fit 37's on with just a 4" suspension lift and 1" body lift (if thats what you have) especially without flat fenders...

You'll need a minimum of about 7" lift to clear 37's...so add a new suspension, SYE, CV shafts, and a few other things to the list if you dont already have them. You might be able to stuff 37's on with 5" lift and cutting your fenders way up

heres a link to 35/37's if you havent already checked it out

Jeeps with 35s or 37$

In my opinion, 35's are all that are needed for pretty much anything...and i'd regear to probably 5.38 if i were gonna run 35's

oh really i was told that a my 3.5 inch lift and a 1 inch body would house them just fine with flat fenders ( thats on my list to i must have forgot them) but who knows at this point in time im broke and cant seem to find any money trees in the forest so looks like im staying where im at

I very much doubt you can fit them with just 4.5 lift and flat fenders...you wont have any room for flexing and you'll rub at full turn for sure.

I bet you could run 35's with the 4.5 lift and the flatty's though with enough room for flex.

I'm in the same boat, man haha...

I'd assume so haha...

oh well, we'll go as far up as we can!

I'm lookin forward to both trails...

Got the address....and as weird as it sounds, i actually picked that one before you gave me the address just to get an idea of how long it would take haha. I figured it was close to the foot hills and i'd just use it as a good estimate...turns out that was the one you were actually talkin about!

Anyway, it'll only take me about an hour to get there...quotes me at 1 hour 9 minutes

Ok kool man. If you get there before me just text or call me. It's about a 30minute drive from my house give or take depending on traffic and how dumb people drive.

Do you have an atlas or anything. Cuz I have no clue where the trail start for bull park is.

P.s. Aren't you glad we all died in the rapture that was suppose to happen 15 mins ago

No problem...and no i dont have an atlas, i'll see if i can find the starting point on google and then just find it on my gps as a cross street or something.

People in colorado cant drive...its incredible lol. Stuff i've seen here since i moved from iowa blows my mind that people actually have a license in this state lol

Oh yeah...kinda forgot about that. I had forgotten all about it since i first heard it way back when...then someone reminded me yesterday...idiots

Why cant you go, Mark? Its only a little gas to get down there n back...no other money needed! Cmon...you know you wanna!

I'm game for whatever place you wanna meet...i dont know one from the other so just let me know which one you wanna go to.

As for the driving...just wanna add another incident to the "colorado cant drive" book...

Was goin to walmart quick to return a can of paint i didnt need...ambulance was comin up behind me so i pulled over...the car behind me honked and flipped me off that i didnt continue going. Like, really?

I'm gonna print off the trail directions for bull park so we can find it...hopefully...

yea mark comon its what 80 in gas? not to bad

just do the 7/11 unless mark wants to come we can do the other one

today when i was driving some lady in a pos mustang started honking at me ones the light turned green like it was maybe green for three seconds before she honked so i was nice enough to drive 35 in a 65 then honk at her when she turned. like i see my self as a pretty descent driver but if you ride my ass or piss me off your gonna hate me.

sounds good to me man
