Denver Rescue Mission Run

Today a grown man came to my office, tapped on the window, and asked me to call 911. He had been in the cold all night and was freezing and crying. When the police came, he told them he was here from California answering to a warrant so he could have a good standing at the CA rescue mission.
This experience has left me with a need to do something to help people like him and know that our money and work is going to use where it needs to. Just like last weekend we did a Jeep run for our furry friends with a great turnout. I thought about volunteering but why not have some fun as well? So a run for the needs of the Denver Rescue Mission seems to be in order.
Since I am a newbie and don't know the trails I am counting on my new Jeep family to help me with this run. Ahem, Ed, Tom, Chad...
***They need canned goods/non-perishables; hygiene items; diapers; coats; towels; new underwear and socks for men, women and children; and clothing for men. Additional items include school supplies and incentives for kids at The Crossing who participate in the Denver Broncos Youth Center.
It would be nice to get something going before Christmas...

I'm in. Just say when and where. Chad, how about a run that would be good for all skill levels? You know the trails in the Denver/Boulder area way better than I do.

I'm in........Yankee hill area might be good for this run.....or we could do Pole Hill/ Pierson Park/ Iron Clads.
And Ed is very right ...Corrie is a great new addition.

My vote would be Yankee hill. Maybe Saturday. We could all head into Central City/Blackhawk for a buffet or something.

No College football for awhile so Saturdays work best. And Chad don't have to rush to get some sleep before going to work.

Amy, no one could ever replace you, you are truly one of a kind I really miss you on our runs and look forward to having you back with us.

How about if we plan it for the 22'nd? That would give everyone some lead time and I've been thinking we should have an end of the world run. What better way to go out than Jeeping?

I will be gone the 22 nd of December but if it is before that I would like to join in. A few weeks ago I met a homeless couple. I talked to them for over an hour. Makes me thankful for what I have.

Corrie: I have absolutely no hard/ill feelings toward you at all . The guys know I get all the crap 'cause I was the only female in the group lol. But we've been adding new females which helps me out a lot, which also means they can't give me any. So I'm gonna ask that you continue and even more so give everyone the crap they all deserve .

Unfortunately David can got get weekends off one week in advance . So next year....next year I'll start making more runs with you all. 6 months to go!!!!

How about I come get you when we do the run and you can ride shotgun? And if you can convince me that you've learned to drive a stick you can drive part of it.
