If the weather doesn't allow sounds like a good time for a meet and greet instead

I called the South Platte Ranger Station today to get an idea of the snow fall for this run. The ranger said there was about 5 to 6 inches at the trail head and more at the higher elevations.

All things considered, I think a Meet and Greet is in order for this run to collect donations and share in some holiday cheer.

Morrison Inn in Morrison could accommodate our group and seems to be a central location for everyone interested in this run. If not, any suggestions?

Sounds like there is a lot of snow up there. A meet and greet might be a better idea at this point instead of anyone having problems up there.

The ranger said there was about 5 to 6 inches of snow at the trail head. It snowed pretty good yesterday up there.

I say we meet and greet and anyone who still wants to go up to slaughter house who is willing can go check it out and maybe have a snow run depending on the difficulty (never done slaughterhouse to my knowledge so I don't kno what kind of obstacles we would face in the snow

That could work as well. I'm not very experienced so let's see what some of the more experienced people think.

I've done the trail when it was dry. The whoop de doo part might get a little tricky with snow?

We most likley will not be able to come.
Nate and I have to start our Christmas shopping and end it all in one day. We only have Saturdays off together. If I'm not back by Sunday AM, can someone please come and bail me out of jail. I hate shopping and I may have Cart Rage.
Way to go Corrie. You have a great heart.

Remember the main reason for together Saturday is to get donations for the Denver Rescue Mission. Wheeling is icing on the cake but not necessary this weekend.
