I'm heading down from Denver. We met at Rudy's last time which worked out fine. I'd like to get started early if possible, like 9 am at Rudy's. The trail is a decent drive on washboard BS and I'm an hour from the Springs. If not, no worries, but I'd like to try Saran Wrap if there's time too.

Anyone willing to play trail guide?

Also, I'd prefer Sunday, but could potentially make Saturday work.

Rudys would work. Meeting at the home Depot at Southgate is a little better to get to from I 25.

Hey saw the thread. Your probably going to wanna run SW first because it dumps into the entrance of ER.
If you use Home Depot as meeting point there's no gas on way to Old Stage Rd. just an FYI for those coming from any distance. There is a Shell to the Left (East) or 7/Eleven to (West) both are immediately off I-25.

I'm going to Medano Pass but if it falls thru I will join you. Last time I was at ER I broke my 4wd. Bushing on the shifter in console broke and was stuck in 4wd. Lol. I need to conquer it

I'd love to come, I've wanted to run these trails for a long time, they're right in my backyard. BUT, I don't trust my Jeep enough to make it back home from the end of the trail yet, and I need it to get to and from work. So I'll have to pass, but I'll be watching and waiting for pix from the run!

Hmm...I've really been wanting to run these trails since moving to CO. I'm about 50%, and my preference would be Saturday. I've got a handy phone app for Android (BackCountry Navigator) that uses the .gpx files from TrailDamage, along with aerial or forest service maps of the area, so I can help with navigation. Will commit by Thursday or sooner. Would be coming from just north of Denver so could meet up at the Home Depot, or whatever the meetup spot.

I've got another run planned for Sunday so won't be able to make it. Will try to hit the next run.
