So we're going to meet a group at McDonalds in WP at 0930. If anyone is planning joining us, don't be late or meet us at McD's in WP.

This was the only one I had that isnt upside down? Mostly dry but ran into some DEEP snow drifts made going a little tricky and had to pull some cable.

That's what I said too!
Seriously though the snow in the trees was rock solid but any snow out in the open was rotten and wet. We actually had light flurries up there!

Lol, that's the thing..it was like living the in the x-files..when I got stuck there were video cameras sprouting from tree buds, floating down the creek, laying on top of rocks....but miraculously when he got stuck, nothing...zip, nodda...might as well been a desert, and the ppl that had them in their pocket suddenly forgot how to use it and started knitting a blanket! Lol!

We actually had one JK turn around... It was so scared of the deep snow it Pee'd diff fluid on one of its tires!

Here's a video heading out of ER on FR379...you gotta listen to to whole thing!

One of the pics I posted was where I got stuck and you can see how deep the drifts still are up there! Seriously, had anyone of us been up there alone without a shovel or a winch it would've been a long cold walk out!! I actually joked about how I taken the chains out of my jeep...because after all it IS May!!

It's good you went yesterday, we've had about eight inches of snow so far today up here and the NWS is predicting another five to eight inches by morning. Your tracks won't even be visible. Ah, springtime in the Rockies
