Easy night run anyone?

I'd like to take the girls on a night run on Friday night the 23rd. I'm not loaded with lots of lights yet and this would be my first night run, so I'm looking at Schubarth Road. I've ran it twice now, so I'm pretty comfortable trying it at night.

Anyone else interested in this?

I'd probably be interested in that. I'm running pretty much a stock JKUR. No extra lights. I've never run that trail so not sure if would need more.

A Rubicon is overkill for this trail, so the Jeep would do fine. As for lights, I've only got two windshield mounted lights as far as off road lights go, but I feel this will be fine. I might grab some Harbor Freight spot lights for the kids to play with out the windows... so if anyone got into a bind, we'd have light for that. But I don't foresee the need for that.

Will do. I might even try and add some more lights to the Jeep before this run now that there is time.

Sounds like a blast, I'm in. My son will get a kick out of night wheeling (he's 10).

Great. I'm hoping my girls will too. One is 11 and the other just turned 10. The younger one is a tom boy, so I know she will love it. The older one gets scared pretty easy, so she my not like it as much. After all, Bigfoot is out there somewhere!

I have an 18 and a 14. But the 18th is moving to Boston to start College on the 1st. So it will be only three. Let me know when ready. Looking forward to meet you all .. It will give me time to put the lift kit on my jeep. And maybe a couple of lights

I'll start a new thread with more details on the night run when I can nail down the date. I'll be sure to post a link in this thread so that it is easy to find.

Haha, yeah kind of an old thread! We did end up doing this night run on different date. It was a lot of fun. I'd be willing lead it again if people are interested in it.

Not much in the way of Jeep stuff. Just been super busy with the job, the family and online business. It's pretty much been all work and no play for me.
