At least one person was killed this morning when an SUV tumbled into a ravine on U.S. Forest Service land, officials say.
The Colorado State Patrol and coroner's office were called at 7:29 a.m. to Forest Service Road 700 in Eagle County, said Trooper Nate Reid, CSP spokesman.
Troopers are investigating the crash in a remote area, Reid said. The Eagle County Coroner's office is responding to the accident scene as well.
This story will be updated as new details are known.
