Your rig is going to be a beast! Mine goes up to FOCO next Friday. Picking up some new axle bearings tomorrow. Hopefully the sliders come next week. Not sure how anyone will keep up with you and Ed.

Are you going to use the truss for a 3 link platform or is it just for strength?

Artec truss...nice. I got one of their first batches on the 8.8 I was building last year. Great item, and takes the guess work out of bracket placement.

I ran into a little trouble with the swap today. the spring perches need a little re-fab. I also learned that it is going to be much easier if I get the brakes all ran and set up before I instal the thing. So I ended up sticking the 35 back under her temporarily so I could get her tires back on the ground. Also think that it may be beneficial to bring the shock mounts around the tube a little more towards the back. It's a little bit of a learning process right now. Anyone that's done this 8.8 swap before...I would love to see some pictures of how you set up the brakes. e-brake and how you ran the lines over for the calipers.

Chad,

I can help get the brake lines and e brake setup. The caliper flex hose on mine ( which are the lines you picked up from me) bolted to the back of the lower control arm bracket. Here is a shot of those brake lines installed.

Chad,

Do you still have the original Ford emergency brake cables? It looks like it from the picture of your axle, those won't work. I have a set of old e brake cables that came off of mine that I was going to keep as backups that I would sell you cheap.

Terry

That would work perfectly, I usually get home around 6:00 - 6:30 every night and I'm free any night this week. Just let me know which night works for you so I can make sure I'm home.
