Good shops in South Denver

Looking at some good shops in the south side of Denver, perferably that work with Poison Spyder.

I've already contacted:
Edge Automotive
High Country 4x4
All American 4x4

Looking for who can get me my best bang for my buck and does a great job.

I've used Edge (and they were great) but wanted to shop around for prices/quotes for a couple jobs just to make sure I'm getting top rate.

I've been to All American 4X4, would not recommend them. I can tell you in a pm if you'd like. But I'd personally stay away from them.

High Country does good work but they are also expensive. I need to get gussets welded on my Cs...maybe even sleeves. Would prefer a master welder and someone experienced with welding on axles. I screwed up by letting Bach Crawlers weld on my last one and ended up with warped Cs and a permanent caster difference. One look at the welds made people crack up. That was pleasant...not doing that this time.

I've been the most impressed by the work that comes out of crawlertech.

Wife was looking at having a hood louver installed (including cutting the hood) and I was looking at a reputable place for a re-gear in the near future.

You can do the hood yourself. 2 hrs including paint drying. The first cut is the hardest. after that you have no choice but to continue.

You can definitely do the hood louver's yourself...they're cake.

As for the regear, i got mine done by a guy in parker for a great price. He did my 8.8 axle install, regear, steering setup, and chromoly front shafts. Shop is SFF Customs (guys name is Josh).

I got my first axle done by him as well, however, doing your own gears isn't as hard as people make out....just the first time the learning curve is steep. If its a daily driver, then have somebody else do them.

x2. Josh is the head guy there and he won't try to sell you things you don't need. He put my Zone lift on and is a great guy to work with.

If your C's are already damaged or bent when you weld in gussets they stay that way forever. Best to get you alignment angles printed out before welding to know what you are starting with. Also a great time to upgrade your ball joints
