Introduction

I've been lurking around long enough and thought it was about time that I introduce myself. My name is Jim and I live in Avon. I'm on my third Jeep now, an LJ. My previous Jeeps were a YJ and a TJ. So far I'm in the building stage of my Jeep and I haven't been on the trails much the last three years. I hoping to change that. Hope you all don't mind a question or two as I build my rig, or if I invite myself to a run here and there.
Oh, I almost forgot. I assume build specs and a picture is mandatory?

Nice to meet you. I'm Justin I'm in Colorado Springs. Good to see another LJ. Mines an 04 got the RK X-factor on the way. All the runs on here are usually welcome for everyone. Look forward to seeing you on some trails.

What size tires do you plan to run? I was surprised at how much my Jeep bogged down with 33's. I thought my 4:10's could get me by for a while. Boy was I wrong. I ended up re-gearing to 4:88. I'm much happier now.

I have 33s waiting to get put on. I ran them with my 2.5 inch lift but they rubbed way to much. So had to put the 31s back on.

It's nice seeing so many LJs out there. Can't wait to see em on the trail. Maybe we should get an LJ group together for a trail run. And thanks for all the compliments.

I have only been once and that was in April, after the Easter Jeep Safari. I have always been told to go in the spring and fall time.

Welcome to the apparently LJ forum. Ha

Yeah Moab in spring or fall. Not in summer unless you really like roasting. 110 in the shade is no fun.

Ok, I'm tired of this LJ thread lol. Gonna be a smartass and throw in a TJ. Everyone here is great and practically almost every trail has an easier route. Plus the guys and gals are more than willing to help out. Btw, I'm Amy and live in Lakewood soon to be Denver. Hopefully will be able to meet you in the summer.

No JocJK, this will never be just an LJ forum just because this thread is already one. Just joking of course.
