I love that trail. I wish I could make it this year. But you can't complain when this is what you get to see at the end of the trail

Weather is still good here. Light snow in the mountains last night but it has melted.

Is anyone else camping? Is this the right thread to discuss this?

I'm planning to camp off 285 again, think it was county road 315 or something. It's about 10 minutes from the meeting spot.

Hey guys and gals!

Unfortunately the wife and I have to pull out the last few weeks have destroyed us financially . We had to deal with flooding in our basement, emergency surgery for our yellow lab and a week in Hawaii for our anniversary. I hope you all have a blast and hope to be out with some of you all soon.

Neal

The Jeep suffered some catastrophic breakage last weekend on coffin rock and I am not going to be able to make the run however I am still going to be in BV over the weekend so hopefully we can all still meet up at the cantina on Saturday night. Set Them Free will also donate a bunch of goodie bags for everyone participating in the Jeeptober and I will bring those up to the meetup on Saturday morning. Really bummed about not being able to make it but I don't even want to drive the Jeep on the street right now let alone a trail.

Basically trashed my steering from the box down. Cracked the pitman arm at the splines, trashed the TR-end that connects to the pitman arm, bent TR, really loud click in the box, ripped out the wiring to my front locker (on a dirt road leaving the trail) and on top of all of that I broke the zip-ties that hold my battery down.

Thanks for the offer Justin but I had to leave the Jeep on the trail to go find one. Thankfully Ernest (B4real) was gracious enough to drive me to CO Springs where James from R & R Off Road hooked me up with a replacement.

So is Grizzly/Pomeroy on Sunday an official run? If so, what time would the meetup be? I can't do Saturday, but really want to get out on Sunday and am trying to decide if I'm up for the long trek to get there.

Wooohoooooooo I made it home without further incident. I had a great time riding with Doug. Here is a link to the pics. I really enjoyed watching Dan, Drew and the other Rubicon. Feel free to take what you want. Hope to see you all again next year.
