Looks like things are getting going on here. The trails will be fun. #2 is a good set of trails. Nothing too extreme and can be done by stock Jeeps. I thinks that doing 3 and 2 on the first will work out. For the over night folks then 2 and 1 can be done. 2 might turn into a harder one by including Iron Chest mine. This is not recommended for stock Jeeps. Maybe even go up Grizzly lake trail too. I will start a page for anyone interested in staying the night. If I can get a number, I might be able to get you guys a group rate. Not sure but it is worth a try.

So is the actual poker run going to be a 1 day thing? That probably makes the most sense at this point as not everyone is staying for the weekend. If that's the case those of us that are staying till sunday can make plans, form groups etc on Saturday evening at the bar/restaurant? I'd rather run another moderate level trail than be commited to the super easy one. Grizzly lake looks fun but would probably need to be combined with something else (probably not iron chest for me) to make a day of it. There's so many trails in the BV area it would be nice to have a little flexibility and see what everyones up for after day 1.

I thought you were the one screaming earlier about having to have the date so that you could get it off on in this thread......seems like you might have even demanded it........WTF

Wow wow wow you all need to calm down. Well originally I got the time off but that's before I remembered I had to take off 10 days in October for elk hunting... So I had to bargain with my boss

Well I guess you should probably get your ducks in a row before you start making demands of people. If your going to force peoples hands then back out it won't be long before they quit giving a rats ass about what you want. It just irritates me that you said you would make the dates yourself if you didn't have them by 7 that night so Nick dropped everything else to take care of it. then because he rushed into a date to satisfy your needs he forgot something that he had to do that weekend and is now not able to go. He has worked hard on getting this organized and can't make it because he was forced into setting a date to help you out before he was ready to do so. Now your not even going to go.

I think you need to relax. At the time yes I had to take dates off other wise I wouldn't have gotten them. So no matter what I needed to know what days it was gonna be. Shit changes if I got worked up every time something happened I'd be sitting in a jail cell

Wow. I think you need to step back a moment and look at the bigger picture. YOU pushed to have a formal date which rushed the situation. Now you're basically saying that it "doesn't matter and shit happens". You are right shit happens. Take me for an example. I have yet to commit to this because my reality is that I have very little control over if I can make it. For that exact reason I leave the planning upto those who can. YOU should have used better judgement. And I get it, it wasn't malicious or intentional. However, your reaction to this entire situation has been poor. You show no remorse over the fact that you chose dates that you could make (at the time) without any regard to others. This caused the guy whose idea this entire trip belongs to to miss it. And you seem not to care.

Guess the rest of us shouldn't care about you? Is that what you'd prefer?

Is there any way we can bump the date back so Nick can make it for the following weekend?

Hey hey wait guys.. no one is at fault.. Im doing this for a group of great guys and gals that I was fortunate enough to meet and wheel with.. People needed dates and I took a shot in the dark.. This whole thing is not about me, it's about the community of jeepers from every stretch of the imagination getting together to do what we in all aspects love to do.. Like everyone on here, even from different states, love this state and what we are so fortunate to have in our backyard and cherish right down to a young man who is under age to the old guy that will help anyone out at a moments notice.. Sure we all have our own opinion on life and circumstances but this site was meant to bring everyone together for one cause.. I feel bad cause I won't be there but people who had to ask for time off had to do just that.. I hate missing a Jeep run with you guys but life happens.. Nobody is complaning, and trying to put together a sick event will cause people not to make it.. Unfortunately it was probably not only just me.. me and bv are still nailing this down and you better get some good video for me! Lol.. This whole event is for everyone on here.. Don't worry I will be there in spirit up until 8:00 pm cause then I will be the headliner on a massive stage..lol so please don't give crap to people that are trying there hearts out to go wheeling with everyone this weekend.. Plus next years WILL be bigger! Im already working on that!

First off i never said the date had to be the 6th. I just needed a date so i could take off work so yes i did push for a date. Next thing, you know nothing about me. So before you go and say i don't care about what nick is doing, you might want to get your facts strait.. Out of everyone who said they would go and help him out at the car show... I was the only one that went.
And to be perfectly honest i don't care what you think about me. I don't care about what any of you think of me. You don't know me.

All your doing is being an ass over the internet.

Im not discrediting anyone here.. Topher helped me out in a big way earlier this year.. Least I could do is give him a date.. Lol plus I would slow ya down.. My feet are barely wet with wheeling again and my hellcat, f6f Grumman Jeep, is just not use to the seasoned veterans like you all.. you guys are nothing but patient with me and I commend you for that.. Heck I have 2 cb radios and not one is in my Jeep.. I really just want this poker run to represent jeepers not in a colorado association of for Wheelers, which I was a part of at one time, to get together and have fun.. Without "us" most of these trails would disappear into the mountain side leaving nothing but a vague memory of what was. Put the swords down and let me and bvjeep give you one Heck of a weekend! Ed! Help me out with this! :-)
