KILLER day wheeling! Spring Creek + Wheeler Lake...

Ran Spring Creek this morning with 4 vehicles.... Got home and ended up running up Wheeler Lake. It's clear through all of the main obstacles but ended up turn back about a mile and a half after the v. Notch. I will definitely be running it again soon. I will work on getting photos up

Would like to run Wheeler or some of those area trails in the next 2-3 weeks. Was waiting for stuff to dry up around there. I guess things are. Looking forward to pictures.

Easy on the stupid pedal and mindful about tire placement and you're fine..... I ran the tougher sections of the trail again today by myself...

Nice, and it's a beautiful area. Looks like there are some pretty gnarly sections. A stock Sport or Sahara may have some trouble here.

Good driving will get around all of it I think..... There were easier bypasses around most of them.

At lower elevations its come down almost completely. Peaks are still snow capped but its melting off very quickly

I brought a Canon 5d mkii and 16-35 2.8L ii for that run. I'm looking at the canon g series or Sonya rx-100 so I can hopefully stop lugging that beast around.

Nice photos!

I had hoped to move to Colorado but couldn't make the job work. Housing is a bit pricey as well. At least I am leaving Seattle for Spokane.

If you are in Colorado don't ever leave . . .
