Lefthand Canyon

Didn't know where to find info on this trail so I'm hoping someone on here knows. Is LHC open or even possible go get to?

Chris, apparently the road to it is GONE! I've been calling the specific County DOT to get information on trail access.

I gotta get out this weekend, just can't make the Jeeptober event maybe next year...

I REALLY wanna check out Saran Wrap and Eagle Rock! According to Teller Cty DOT Old Stage is open from their end... makes it a longer drive but I'll bet the trails got a real face lift! Let me know if you guys decide to hit something...

Like you two, I need to get out. Been off the trails way too long. But I'm also trying to stay relatively close to the Denver area. Wouldn't mind staying within a 40 min drive to meet up. But nothing too far for me. And if LHC is closed, then we need to find a more suitable trail. Plus, I'm in the mood for mud. And if we decide on something, I may be bringing a friend with me to ride shotgun.

There are still lots of trails you can hit close to Denver, I was up Rollins Pass road last night, and if it stays warm out today and tomorrow, most of the snow up here should be melted. West Magnolia is still open, and Kingston Peak's gate should still be open, though I'm sure there will still be snow towards the top. You can also get over to Bunce School Road/Ironclads/Plane Crash if you go through Black Hawk/Nederland.

I am trying to get out west and do some camping tonight, but if I don't have any of my friends joining, I would be down for a trail or two with you guys.

Kingston is always fun. Looking for other trails. Though I'd still be down for the trail again lol.

Slaughterhouse is always fun as well. Haven't been to the other ones. Have a height phobia and not sure the elevation on the other trails. But I'd like to know tonight at some point instead of me missing the run lol.

I would, but the Springs is a bit too far for my gas budget.

For those that don't live in the Springs. How about we plan for next Saturday or Sunday?
