We live in Westminster, and for close trails we like to go to the Rollinsville area...there's a number of different trails that connect with each other or are in close proximity to each other. Kingston Peak and Yankee Hill are two of the better trails in the area. Congrats on the new jeep and welcome to the forum!!!

One of my favorites is Middle Saint Vrain, trail head is right outside of Camp Dick. The plane crash site is also right there and a fun trip.
