Manchester Creek/Phantom Creek

Sunday, March 4, will be a scouting run of the Manchester Creek/Phantom Creek area to check out trail conditions. The following is good description of the area in general, although I am not planning for the specific route described as it is often gated in the winter.

TrailDamage.com - Phantom Creek

Will be doing a large loop through the area, from Divide to Westcreek and back or the other way around, depending on who is coming.

That wasn't an elk trail, that was a perfectly good county road. It doesn't turn into an elk trail until a couple miles past the point where you almost drowned... And besides, how was I to know that the mud bog had turned into a lake...

Sheesh, get a few years on a guy and they get all cranky...
