That's one I want to check out. The pics and vids make it look a little rough on your Jeep though.

Just because it CAN be done stock, doesn't mean people will want to try and do it. And you gotta remember, the more crawling/obstacles, the more you're gonna have parents getting frustrated or angry from a bored kid kicking the back of the seat while they wait their turn. I'd be down for just about any trail, but I don't care how hard what we do is, I'm just out to envoy the company of people who love doing what I love, to experience nature, and to get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a while.

Its all about the line you take. Anything that looks hard or extreme can be bypassed.

My wife and I and my two boys had a great time Sunday. It was really nice meeting everyone and hope to do this again.

China wall was the first trail that we went on. Here are a couple of videos from that trip.

My Jeep was stock. No lift and I was only running 32" tires.

I'm down for whatever. I don't care. I just thought it was awesome being 1 of a 13 Jeep group, spending the day in the mountains, and meeting new people. I'll leave the decision up to the people who have kids. I'll come and join for anything, red, blue, or green. I was just saying I'm not sure how many people would want to take their kids and/or new Jeeps on a red trail. If I'm wrong, awesome. In that case, lets go crawling!

I have seen a 2013 JKUR pushed as hard and far as can be done. You would be completely amazed. Full family truck load as well. It comes down to the comfort level of the driver and riders. SFrubicons daughters grew up wheeling and enjoy the "fun stuff" as much as any of us.

My first run in my stock TJ was China Wall, without doing the "wall". Justin and the group I was with really helped me out as a newbie. The people who have been on this forum are the best people you will ever meet.

I have run Slaughterhouse a few times as well with my granddaughter who literally laughed the whole time... It was awesome!

There are bypasses for the obstacles on both of those runs as well.

Welcome to the family

Very true. I know our Jeep is way more capable then me and my family our right now. I need more trail time to learn how to read the proper line for obstacles and the family needs more time riding with me to feel safe on more challenging trails. We also have a newer Jeep that we’ve had less than a month, so we are a little over protective of getting any damage right now.

The family enjoys the trips with other families more than just going out solo or with another Jeep, so it is going to take more time to get the needed experience.

My little group tends towards the much harder stuff but is also always a family affair. We jump in on some other trail runs from time to time. Hope to see you on the trails this year. My knowledge is your knowledge, same with my whole group.

...and? I've haven't had my Jeep a year, and haven't done as much with it as I've wanted, because it was a beater when I first got it. I've fixed it up, and am trying to get more trail experience. Isn't that what groups like this are for?

Oh. Haha. I wasn't worked up. I was just saying since you kept saying harder trails, I understand why the trails were so easy this time around. If my Jeep was a 2012 and I paid 29-30 grand for it, is probably stick to pretty easy trails. I wouldn't wanna break something or bang it up too much before even paying it off. And that's what most of the Jeeps there were. Newer vehicles for people with families. But I'm in a '97. Scratches and dents are just beauty marks. Haha. And I haven't been to China Wall yet, but it's on my list for this summer. I've just heard its pretty challenging.

Lol. What did you do? The first trail I ever ran in my Jeep was Eagle Rock. I had to turn back halfway because I didn't have lockers and I couldn't make it any farther.
