Crap. I've got some friends that are doing T-Giving in Moab that I initially turned down. May have to reconsider now....

I have a couple friends that will be there too insanely cool couple and some of their family members. I've run a few trails with them locally as well as in 21rd in grand junction. I doubt I can make but I'm sure Matt and Suzi would love to wheel with you. They have a really nice jl rubi on 35's.

Or my wife kilt me! I told her I'd estimate roughly 6k to rip out the suspension and replace after parts/labor. She didn't look amused. I smiled.

6k sounds a little pricey. What all is included in that price?

Either something along the lines of this http://www.genright.com/ProductInfo....T#.UoYu5nm9Kc0

Or a Frankenstein setup with components from genright and no coil over. I'm not sold on coil overs for what I want. Think a resi and bump stops should do. I'm at work so I don't have my list in front of me. I'm semi close to doing a stretch but I dunno how viable it would be for every day life. Would have to move the fuel cell etc.

Shocks will not be the cause. I'm guessing you already checked steering components ?

I Bet it's the tires...are they old and worn ?

Oh and Chad...I'll be in Moab without my Jeep but I'll hit you up.

I thought shocks were a long shot. I threw them in there more cause of how much I dislike mine. I've checked steering components had a trusted friend do the same and both came up empty. I'm just worried about getting new tires as I'd jump to 35's from 33's and if tires aren't the issue I think the 35's will just make it worse.

Tires aren't to old and worn but they obviously have use on them. I would add that every time I wheel I rotate/balance them and I can still get the wobble, tho at a very reduced frequency.

Have you checked your toe ?

Also I had a vibration issue with my rear driveshaft...replaced it and vibes were gone. Do you have a SYE ?

What pressure do you run your tires at ?

Sorry for the 20 questions.

Toe is correct as of last week.

Yes to the sye.

28 is where discount puts them for me.

And seriously ask away.

How old is your driveshaft ? Mine was less than a year old and since I didn't grease it the joints were shot. Had to get it rebuilt. It was vibrating pretty bad between 20 and 30 mph.

Drop you tire pressure dramatically to around 20 and see what that does...28 on a TJ is way too high.

Steel rims ?

Tie-rod ends ?

On the driveshaft thing...I could hear the vibration just behind and below me. If your's is an entire vehicle vibe you can probably rule the DS out. I just pulled mine real quick and it rode super smooth. Might be worth a shot.

Ya those TREs should be more than enough.

Check your rims for bends...and maybe one of them threw a weight off or something. Not likely but it happens.

The vibe is in the front and front only. I can set it off by simply hitting a bump on the right front and being between 35-42 mph. It's about 60% probability.

I'm hoping to change the tire pressure after work and then test it.

This may sound dumb. How would I know if they threw weights? And if that's the case I'm pretty sure that feels very different. Last winter my wife complained that something was wrong with the Audi. It had snow packed in a wheel and was super off. Just melted the snow and it was fine. Not sure if that's the same principal though.

Well if they are stick weights, look on the inside of the rims and see if it looks like one is missing. But if you've had the tires rebalanced then this shouldn't be the case either.

Last thing I would look at it front drive shaft...replace the ujoints and pray that fixes it.

I had death wobble on my last jeep and it took me a few weeks to track it down, so I know your frustration. Thats the main reason I stuck with 2 inches of lift this time around, less things to account for when shit goes down.
