Mt Bross

I'm looking at trails to ride when I go to Colorado this summer. Mount Bross looks interesting. I would like to drive up a 14er other than Pikes Peak. Is this a good moderate trail or is it more extreme?

With a high end rating of 3 I would say it's a fairly mellow trail.
Mt Bross
It looks pretty cool....might have to put it on my list for this summer.
Another 14er is Mt Antero
Mt Antero

Call the local ranger station. That trail closes a lot due to land owners fighting over land rights. That trail from what I know has been closed for years. I "illegally" hiked it a few years back and the locals had a truck near the top as a deterrent. Don't know if anything has changed as of recent.

I'm pretty sure Mt Bross has been permanently closed by that land owner and is only available for hiking up the trail from Kite Lake. The good news is that it was just a dirt road - nothing that any AWD SUV couldn't handle.
There are much better trails nearby like Mosquito Pass and Wheeler Lake.

Mostly true. I did the 4 mountain loop last summer and the "true" summit is private and you aren't supposed to hike it there are parts that are public. It is lame though when mountains are privatized. Most people don't seem to care and hike it anyways and I did all the way up until the private section then I headed back down to the trailhead. I would think driving up it is definitely closed though.
