Need a mechanic recommendation in Colorado Springs (rear differential)

Hi --
The guy I use for normal stuff said I need a Rear Differential rebuild (sparkly fluid) but that he doesn't do that and the guy he used isn't in town any more. So, I'm looking for a recommendations (or places to avoid) to do this work...

I have a 2003 Wrangler X, 6 cyl, 5 speed.

Not something I'll tackle...thanks. I appreciate your guys' help.

greg

If your Jeep has the D44 rear axle I would repair it. If it has the D35 I would seriously consider upgrading to a D44. The D44 is a much better axle. There should be a tag on the axle identifying it as well as the ratio.

Thanks

I appreciate the updates and recommendations. I'll double check what axle is in it...it's an X, so I'd guess it's a D35...I'll look at upgrading to the D44.

Just say this thread, so maybe to late to help but I use TJ auto over on Mount view and nevada. Tim the owner is a good guy and straight shooter, used to be at red nolan land rover/jag.
