Need advice on buying used vehicle

I'm looking at a vehicle in cali and was wondering how much rust is a factor for West coast vehicles?

None, if it has been a Cali car it's entire life should be super clean

Think muscle cars from California, there's a reason they are so valuable...no rust, easy body work if needed, you aren't puttying everything.

should be fine as long as they werent driving it in salt water or lived right on the beach. Salt water is nasty stuff. I would drive my Jeep anywhere except on a beach in salt water.

As long as its not from the mountains it's fine. The mountains depending on which ones get a ton of snow and they use a lot of salt/mag chloride. Some of the mountains get three times the amount of snow our mountains get.
