Need help with trail information

Hi boys and girls
We're trying to set up a group to get to Bolder, CO around 4th of July time, camp and hit the trails (I'm assuming there should be plenty ) So, with that said, I was hoping to get some information on both - camp grounds and trails around there. Should be family friendly (camping) but do not need Hilton there either Coordinates, maps, etc. are greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch in advance to everybody who responds

UPDATE: My dates have been approved, so at the moment it looks like that - we leave on Monday night to be there on Tuesday. So far we were planning to camp at Camp Dick Campground and trail from there around till Saturday when we get on the way back home.

Camp dick is a great place to camp. there is a little stream that runs through there called Middle Saint Vrain. there is also a coupleof trails that start right out of the campground. One is called Middle Sain Vrain Trail and it travels up and around to Idian Peaks Wilderness Access at the top(Coney Flatts). Great Views from here. Very Rocky and can be as difficult as you make it. There is a water crossing at the top. same water that runs through the campground. it should be doable in July but I would walk the boardwalk to be sure before going in. after the crossing you are on Coney Flatts trail. Very Wooded and some rocks all the way back to hwy 72.
there is also Bunce School Road that leaves out of the East end fun little trail that has a lot of small spurs. itcmes ut at hyway 72 also at the other side where old Bunce School is. a shool house from the late 1800's that has been restored. sometimes it is open for a tour.
there is also Pierson Park road.....Johnny Park Rod...Pole Hill ...Caribou(old mining villiage still there)....Rollins Pass East (Old railroad bed with great views)....LHOHV...and a few others real close to you.
Estes Park is only about 10 mi. and is a fun place to spend a little time. Rocky Mtn National park is not too far either which is the highest Paved highway in the US (gorgious view.) should be open in June this year. here are alot of others if you want to drive an hour or so...
have a safe trip and let us know if you need some company on any of these or other trails. as you can see there is no shortage of people that wnt to wheel on any given day around hear...Enjoy
Chad
PS Lots nice foilage a nd great views.of great places to hike and fish round there also... I would at least recomend a short hike along 4th of July trail. http://www.protrails.com/trails/view/106

Just searched YouTube for "Middle Saint Vrain" I'm definitely looking forward to going there. Phenomenal scenery. I better finish a new mount for camera and wire in power inverter. it'll be a lot of footage to sort through after his trip

everyone is welcome to join in. I've posted the dates I got approved at work for set for this trip but will re-confirm as we get closer to the dates. We will start planning in our group sometime in May, so details will be posted. We'll post our CB channels as well as I assume there is no phone reception.

Re: 4th of July trail, we initially thought to stay at that campground at the end of the road but it looked too basic for scenario when we're having kids with us.

Thanks for the info. Look forward seeing you guys in July.

Ok, now I are confused. As far as four wheels go Triumph hasn't put out anything since the Spitfire and the TR6. They have started with retro bikes, notably the Bonny and the Trident, although I have yet to see a Trident. Perhaps we are talking about two different animals?

Ok, I'm better now, I just thought for a moment I had gone "Through the Looking Glass"

No, I have a fondness for British sports cars and motorcycles that goes way back. I hadn't googled it but from the designation I went "Awesome, Triumph made it into the 21st century"

I did google it to check out the specs and I still say "awesome". If I had a bike like that I would be dying for summer to come BTW, roads are clear up here in the hills and the bikes are showing up
