Hi there. Name is Todd and just picked up a TJ about a month ago. I enjoy the outdoors and expect a jeep will allow me to explore new parts of this beautiful area we live in. Looking to meet up with family friendly folks and hit the trails. Also open to suggestions for trails nearby for a stock (for now) TJ. Thanks.
Transfer trail will be one of my first runs. Was up there a few years ago in my buddies yota. Beautiful country. Thinking of catching the grizzly jeep trail from there onto coffe pot road into dotserro.
Would also like to hit up cottonwood pass, haggerman pass, crystal mills and maybe schoefield pass. Have lived here for 15 years and never had a rig to explore any of these areas.
Let me know if anyone is interested in hitting some trails around here.
Take it to Moab with any of the many groups that are going in the next 40 days or so. It will survive everything up to and including fins and things if you follow good directions.
On the way there stop immediately north-west of the Grand Junction airport to play around and get a feel for its capabilities. Take extra ammo as there are plenty of shooting areas there.
Not really. I drove past coffee pot road the other day and it looks clear as far as my eyes can see. We have been getting a rain lately mixed in with some snow. I would wait a few more weeks.
Welcome from Castle Rock! I hope to get together with fellow Colorado Jeepers this year.
