Hey Chris, check your mail for my private message. They should be posting something soon for new hires on their web page. Or try giving their HR person a call.

Thanks to everyone for posting stuff. We had an employee of ours fall seriously ill in February. Since then I have largely been working 7 days a week. I made a commitment to stay at my current job until September. I wilk be looking for opportunities over the summer so if anyone is aware of potential fall openings in their business or one they know please let me know. I can work flex and swing shifts. I really just need one day off a week. I make about 36k pre tax right now and can't really go too much lower than that.

I'm looking to get away from working in the desert and was wondering if anyone has some good leads on jobs in telecom in the Springs area. More specifically the design, installation and maintenance of the cabling and infrastructure and project management.

Any help or leads will be appreciated.

Well, I'm not sure what you guys are looking for, but we are hiring at my company, AV-Tech. We do all the aftermarket equipment on emergency vehicles - all the lighting, sirens, bumpers, and more on mostly police vehicles, though we do deal with firetrucks and ambulances as well. We need an experienced tech who knows the basics of turning a wrench and DC electronics; you would need your own tools. We just lost a few other techs so we're hiring for full time, pay depends on experience. Good benefits, paid time off, ect. It really is a great place to work; there are three of us who drive Wranglers and one who has a Cherokee, so it's like a Jeeper workplace!

Can always check with Leprino Foods in Greeley CO. They have a new 750 million dollar plant built there and they are ramping up production. Should be hiring for quite a few jobs here now.

Job markets is slowly improving (really slowly) but glad some more opportunities are coming to this area. If I stay at my current job till Sep, I get a retention bonus so I will. Problem is that it is incredibly stressful nowadays, and each day can be gut-wrenching. I have another potential job lined up in Vancouver (though they will let me work from Denver, at least for a year). I can hardly wait till Sep, take a month off to wheel and bike and camp, and then back to work. I may look at Schwab too...heard they are good to work for.
