Didn't you buy yours before me john? I still want to buy a couple more things to cover all my bases. Still want to install it myself but don't at the same time. Not sure when I'll get it on. Are you installing yours?

Think we bought on the same day.

There's a guy here in town with a garage and a lift that does work on the side. He helped a buddy do some maintenance on his GC and was pretty reasonable. I've been emailing with him and haven't gotten a price. I'm really only looking to use his garage and have him help me out which I'm definitely willing to pay a bit for. I'm not interested in paying someone else to do all the work but the thought of a lift is awfully enticing.

Awesome. I met a guy at the Denver toy drive around Christmas time who has a full shop that specializes in jeeps and he's like a mile away so I'm gunna call him as soon as I get a couple more pieces.

Congrats man!

You're already being smarter than I was when my lift came in. I got it on a thursday when I got home from work, immediately started at 7:00 pm working thru most of the night eventhough I had to work the next day Needless to say I got it done super early in the morning since I did it solo and was super excited, but couldn't stay awake at work the next day haha. So yeah, weekends are a good plan. If you need help give me a shout

Thanks man. I'll definitely ask for some help when I start. I figure a couple guys should be able to do the lift in a day. Knock on wood.

Hell yeah man. I'd appreciate the help. There's a trail that takes you through the back way to the dunes I did last summer. It was awesome lots of water crossings and you get to drive through the sand. I'd be down to do it again.

They close that trail in the winter. Didn't open this year until late may. The forest service also delayed opening to do tree and road work.

You MUST have a heated garage, I worked in north idaho in the winter! Thats 16 degrees my friend, I had to fix my broken axle and it was not fun, no insulted shop, or air tools so if it gets cold Im out-_- however lots of beer might change my mind...
