Oh, we will Figure it won't take that long to run the bunny trails, then since we'll be in the neighborhood wander down through Wildcat Canyon, maybe see what trail conditions are in Hackett Gulch

Shit, all I was going to was go out and check things out

If you want to turn this into a run, that's fine by me, but I will still be going out beforehand to check things out.

This was mainly for the benefit of Bonovox (any relation to Magnavox?) so that he could get out on a nice safe run. If it's not clean I'll say so, but I'll go anyway, doesn't matter to me. But if everyone isn't locked or posi'd on both ends I'm not going near Wildcat.

Chad, you've already set up a nice run, as long as conditions are good, go for it. We can do this as a low key fun run the weekend after. If things aren't good there and they're good here we can do this as a backup.

Bottom line, we need to get Bonovox out and show him a good safe time

You are correct no need to push or pressure. I think the trail in ft collins looks like a great 1st timer. Plus one of my co-workers at another branch says he has an employee that has a jeep and wants to meet me and come. I never met the dude. Heck I don't even know his name yet so I definitely don't know what he's driving or what experience he may or may not have. But I'll be able to email him tomorrow at work and get some info, the way I see it the more the merrier

Hey, we all have cabin fever really really bad I know that I'm going nuts to get out. So we have two potential fun runs that will give us two good weekends.

Justin, we'll try to hit something this weekend even if it is short. I don't care if I do the same run two weekends in a row, I.Just.Want.To.Get.Out.

I have a feeling that the Colorado Forum is getting famous for that

I get the impression that we have lurkers that read these goofy threads just for their entertainment value

looks much more managable if conditions are good. I'm free Sunday, not Saturday. Let me know what works.

Thanks everyone for all the replies.

I checked in with the Arapahoe forest rangers and they said the trail is open there is snow at the top but if you can get through its legal to go. if we get to where its to rough we can have lunch and head out.

That's true. If nothing else you can use it to keep your hands from freezing

Or make hot cocoa.

I can see it now: drinking your hot cocoa with your mittens on...

It's going to be in the 40's here on Sunday, we won't need mittens...

Maybe you should work a deal with Wanderlust, he knows what he's doing. I'm not always so sure about some of these shops...

Yeah, in this economy you can never complain about being employed

So as far as Sunday goes you can hang with me in the warm and sunny south while I check out the trails north of Divide, or venture into the frozen north with your mittens and your milk and your hot cocoa mix...

It's up to you
