Night Shade in Colorado

Hey all, doing some easy (wife-friendly) mods...was going to night shade the turn signals but wanted to see if anyone had problems with legality in Colorado. I tried to look online but couldn't find anything in Colorado code.

Don't want to get messed with...the day I got my plates, I had gone to the parts store and picked up a couple of frame kits but the only thing they had was the smoke colored plate covers, so I put them on...and got pulled over for them less than 24 hours later

Thanks,

bbg

I'm pretty sure it's illegal but you shouldn't get any trouble with that. I would try plasti dipping them, and if you get pull over you can peel it off! My friends favorite thing to write tickets for is those liscence plate covers!

Thanks for the advice, that is pretty much what I thought so I decided against it...I may plasti-dip them, or spring for some clear ones. The good thing about the license plate thing is I only got a warning...I guess he saw that the registration was only a day old, and I had the kids with me, so the "please don't take my daddy to jail" looks on their faces might have helped

Thanks again

Ya I'm pretty sure you would only get a ticket for that I'm a old Honda civic with a muffler the size or my face, everyone loves jeeps so I would not be worried
