I live in Noco and was trying to find some guys to do some trails every other weekend or so, but Idk any friends around that have a jeep. Anyone interested?
I'm in Frederick and usually hit trails 2-3 times each month. My Jeep is going under the knife for a tummy tuck and SYE install, but I should be ready mid to late-April. Also, check out GPER NATION and Fort Collins Off-Road Society Facebook pages to get acquainted with some other folks.
I have been wanting to do some trails up north. We are in the hills between Boulder and Golden it takes us one to two hours to get to the good trails any direction we go. Jeep will be ready the first of May. Keep me posted I would love to go north for a few runs.
I'm in FOCO too. I don't get off work much due to schedule. I'll check with my boss tomorrow and see if I get this weekend off??? I've been wanting to go to sevenmile for a few weeks now. I've been doing Ironclads on my days off and I need a scenery change.
Its about 1 1\2 hours from my house plus a few hours to do the trail (depending on if we wanna hook into any other trails while we're up there). I was planning on leaving around 1030 or so. Does that work for you? We can just meet at the interstate and head that way.
As far as I knew they were closing/ doing whatever after easter. We could also head up towards Estes, And what did you find out about the ohv permit stuff? Also when would you wanna leave/meet?
In checking in the only trails open up this way are sevenmile, ironclads/bunce. I live west of the Windsor exit and pretty easy for me to cross to the north side of ft Collins. I could meet you along the way or closer to north side of the city. I'll pm you my number.
Just got back from wheeling Sevenmile with Fabuloso. Had a great time. The creek crossings were awesome. Snow on the trail, not a lot of mud. There was a few people outl but was able to breeze through it.
Awesome to meet you Fabuloso and family. Definitely gonna hit some more trails with ya. Job time permitting.
Greer in the stove prairie area? Be careful up there, we have had considerable erosion in the last two days with some culvert damage in that part of the county
