So still pretty much new to the 4 wheeling scene. Have only gone on a few trail rides, nothing real exciting so far. Went up oh my god road and the Nevadaville loop when we went to Central City.
Taking the last week of the month off and would like to do the Pole Hill road above Estes. My father is pretty much in the same boat for experience. We both have JK's, his is stock. Mine has 2" lift and just got a winch installed this weekend.
Any problems for either one of us doing this? Looking to head up on the 29th of this month which is a Thursday. Would certainly welcome anyone else that has more experience coming with.
To anyone that has done this, about how long is it? Kids will be in school so would like to be back mid afternoon.
Really excited about finally getting out and enjoying the Jeep and thought this would be a fun ride somewhat close to home.
I haven't run the entire trail (part of it was blocked by a big fallen tree last year) but you should not have any issues. I may be up for running it with you on the 29th. Here's more info TrailDamage.com - Pole Hill
C6R, would be great if your available. Would like to have someone with a bit more experience along with us. Did check out trail damage to get some idea of what it looked like as well as a couple videos from the web. Looks like a fun trail. Was thinking of heading out around 9 from Greeley, put us up there 10-10:30 ish
Hey dean, I'm also in greeley, nice to see someone in the same neck of the woods. I think I may have seen that silver jk around town. If you see a chili pepper red lifted tj with parts falling off of it, it's probably me. . Count me in.
Real, I was thinking about meeting at the ride-a kart at 10:00. There is a parking lot on the east side just off Mall Road and Hwy 34. Since your in Greeley as well, we could meet up in town and head that way.
Have our Jeep as well as my father's going up. Looking forward to meeting you.
had a great time as well. so the brake light thing turned out to be the brake switch. $18 and ~3min to change out and i was good to go. thanks for letting me know, i probably wouldn't have noticed before the police did :P
