Random small items keeping me from finishing my repairs

I keep hitting walls getting back on the trail. It's driving me crazy!


Now I need:

one left threaded bung, 1" OD for 3/4" shank on a heim joint...
2 1" long 3/4" OD 5/8" inner diameter spacer/bushings.....

Let me tell you what I will NEVER find in Breckenridge.....

Yeah... I bought a heim, bung, and jam nut from high country out of montrose. They should be here tomorrow.

I'm going to temporarily run the tierod under the steering arm on the front of the axle (run a 3/4" grade 8+ bolt through the drag link > arm> tie rod..)

Next week I will babe cutting the upper control arm mount off the diff and adding a truss and raising the mount to allow me to flip the tierod over the top/back of the axle. It's a super slick setup that protects the tierod and assist.

I still have to figure out how to get the calipers back on (the didn't want to cooperate) and out two stupid wear rings into the warn hubs that I seemed to space during the reassembly as they were not in the diagram I had... But left over after reassembly..

I'm going to try and shoot down to the front range Thursday to pick up a powertank, a few misc items, 5pt harnesses, and a mig....

A mig...Nice dude !Go with a gas setup for sure ! I'd be willing to come help you get it set-up. Just let me know.

Also I'll be in breck for Octoberfest so plan on getting some beers with me.

For sure use the gas set up. So much easier and cleaner.

Sounds like its all coming together man. Can't wait to get out in the trails again.

That will be killer!!! Octoberfest is a mess up here! (In a very good, very hungover type of way!)

As for mig, I'll definitely be going gas..... I haven't found the right deal yet... Definitely a 170-180+. Lincoln, hobart, or miller... I keep missing the really really good deals...

If anyone sees anything or knows of a solid option (looking to preferably spend 700 or less, Uncle Sam took 33% of my check today :/....)

I got the jeep back together after a dinner party ran over. I worked on it from 11:30-4:00 am
