Is there a CO law where if you remove the doors you have to still have the side mirrors? I want to take off my doors and need to know if I need mirror relocating brackets. I really don't use my side mirrors with the top off.
Thanks in advance!

You use the side mirrors with the top off? but you do use them when its on?
I'll be getting some of the Harley mirrors from the local dealer to slip in the door hinge bracket when the doors are off. They seem to be cheaper than the relocation brackets. And just a simply attach with a nut..

I have the relocation brkts on the s/v mirrors, but when the doors are ON, can't see out the right s/v mirror. Is that normal? Can see fine, w/o the doors on, but not WITH the door on. Go figure.
That's exactly why I won't remove my side mirrors from my doors! When I actually need my right side mirror, it's blocked by the actual door! Lol so screw it, they stay on my doors... I might just go without side mirrors and door less all summer!
yea last summer i looked into the law cuz i took my doors off. you have to have atleast two working mirrors on your jeep to make it street legal. not sure how hard they truly enforce this law tho. oh i have a question that ill ask on here even tho im about to make a thread for it. does anyone kno how to get to the top of mount baldy near cripple creek/victor colorado. I know you can start on gold camp road then go onto co rd 379 but from there i have no idea where to go i have a few pictures of as close as i can get in the last thread i posted any help?
You can run your jeep here " Texas" with no mirrors. But ya can't see anything Has anyone pulled their top and doors and started to drive or back up The first thing you do is look to the mirror that is no longer there. you are used to them and need them. The aftermarket " bolt on's" are the way to go.
I went to Apex Motorsports in the Springs and picked up a set of motorcycle mirrors to use when my doors are off. They fit perfectly into the empty door hinge and bolt right up. They actually look great, work great, and only cost $20. Next time I have the doors off I'll take some pics and post them
