Renting stock Jeep in Grand Junction

I would like to rent a Wrangler this summer when I go to Ouray. I don't have time to make the 27 hour drive on each end of my vacation with my Jeep or I won't have time to relax. I don't want to pay $150/day for a Jeep.

Do you know which big companies Avis, Hertz, Enterprise usually have Wranglers?

Thanks.

I'd just give them a call.

I rented one from the KOA campground in Ouray last time I was there. First time i ever drove a jeep. I was more than impressed with the capabilities of a stock bare bones stripper model jeep.

The ones I called couldn't guarantee a vehicle only a class. I culdn't get through to airport desk, end up at national office.

Enterprise at the airport usually has a few. Maybe more since it is in that area. Be careful what you do with a rented wrangler. I used to work for Enterprise and they will look for anything they can pin on you and your insurance company, so if you go off road, clean it up real well afterwords. Man I hated that job lol
