Replacing TJ Door Handle

So has anyone done this? I need to replace my passenger side handle It was getting really hard to open when we were in Ouray but worked, tried this morning and snap. Handle pulls from the outside but isn't attached to anything, but it will open from the inside.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You probably just broke something like the clips that hold the linkage. Best to take the inside panel off the door and see what's going on. It could be something really cheap and easy to fix. Won't know until you get in there.

Yea I agree, but while I'm in that far I want to just replace the handle. It was in pretty bad shape before and I knew that this time was coming, wasn't if but when. I did find a couple of write ups and it shouldn't be too hard just time consuming.
