I believe that said $295 bucks. So what exactly do us locals get that we don't already get for free?

I don't mean to sound like an ass I've just never been to one of these. After reading the FAQ it really seems that we already do a lot of this for free.

yeah would be cool but 3 bills for 4 meals is a bit much. I spent less than half of that at Jeeptober for everything including meals and gas.

Vehicle Requirements:
• No body lifts or suspension lifts over 6”
combined.
• No tires over 37”.

Really? What is the point in limiting it to 37" tires and 6" in lift?

My guess would be the "treading lightly" for the bigger tire issue and then maybe the overhead issues on certain trails with the lift??? But you got me.

Good call. I didn't think about that. But at the same time, wouldn't the "Stay the trail" idea take care of the bigger tire issue?

I realize I'm starting a pointless argument , it just makes no sense to me and seems to limit the amount of people that are welcome to pay them $300 and be part of the group. Who knows...

I read that to and darn, it counts me out (most likely, I'm at barely over 6) so now I can't give them my money. Guess I'll have to find my own trail for free.

Hey topher.....i'm sorry you feel that way, but I understand your point of view. It is more than that. It is about the experience (Ouray 101 jeeps) meeting new people from different areas of the country. Making new friends. Learning from the trail guides and learning new ideas from them and other participants.

No I completely understand the whole experience thing, that's part of the reason I wanted to do it. But no offense on my other post.

Only one way to go, and that's up. I'll have to run around on these 37s For a while as I plan my next step. looking at 60 front and 14 bolt rear builds closely as a potential option. Evo makes a package that includes tone rings and bracketry but I'm sure it can be done cheaper. That's probably a fall timeline.

looks like you aren't wasting any time. Are we allowed to hear your grand plan or do we have to wait and see?
