I would love to see that trail in the fall, but when are you thinking of going?

At ONLY 4.5 miles long, It's a long Drive ? What's a short Trail to you then ? A trip down the Driveway maybe ?

Long drive to get there. And I have no clue on when I would want to run it. August? September is busy for me and October as well.

Wish it was a short drive to the trail and a long trail.

I'd go in for fall colors.

Or anytime for that matter. 3.5 to 4 hours to aspen or marble is not that big of a deal for a weekender....... Camping along the way is to die for..... bear beware! No pun intended. Denver > Aspen >cottonwood (spend night) > Crested Butte > schofield (spend night lead king basin) > Marble / Crystal > Denver.

Sorry,
I forgot to introduce myself

MY NAME IS KELLEY AND I AM A JEEPAHOLIC.

I've done Kauai a few times

Running on the beach on the west side of the island can get you in trouble if you're not careful. Soft sand can go up to the axels quick. The camping on the island is incredible. Free at the national parts and 6$ at the state parks. Hit up the farmers market when you get there. Papayas are free if you know where to look.

We had a lifeguard at poi pu beach give us a lobster. He taught us how to net for poi too.

You will love it.
