Schubarth

This Friday I'm planning on taking the wife to Schubarth Loop. I am wondering if there will be any problems with that trail considering the fires. After the loop I have to go to see the in laws in Walsenburg. I know I'll be looking for any excuse to not be in the house so I am wondering if anyone knows of any trails in that area.

We went up Schubarth a couple of weeks ago before the fire and it was great. The fire was on the other side of I-25 so there shouldn't been any problems. The small fire in Jack's Valley (by the Academy gun range) would have been your only problem but it didn't climb as high as Schubarth. Call the Forest District for any late updates.
