How booked is the Carnage run? I'm hoping to have my new cj on tons and 40's by then and be acquainted with its "personality"

Carnage will sell out and so will Chinaman Gulch. The guys from Crane Hi-Clearance and CrawlerTech are leading Carnage and one of the Rock Addicts Ultra4 race cars will be running carnage as well. So my suggestion is to register as soon as possible to make sure you get the trail you want.

How many are you going to have on Chinamans? I am going to try to recruit a couple locals to help depending on the quantity. I am hoping that Jeff from Tomken Mašhine will be on that trip.

I think we need caps on CG and Carnage. I was thinking of doing two groups of 15-20 for CG and two groups of 10-15 on Carnage. Putting the most well equipped vehicles in the first groups so they can go faster. What do you think of that?

We are looking forward to see everyone. We already registered for the event, but we made our reservations at Arrowhead camp grounds yesterday. Counting the days!

I haven't registered yet as I have to ensure I get my hydro assist and tires in/on in time. I am planning to run Carnage if everything comes through.

I know it's about a week and a half away but a quick local update. We have finally got some rain. The monsoon season is setting in real nice. Talked to a forest service guy on Saturday and they have lifted some if not all of the fire restrictions. They way I heard it was that you can have an open fire now on the forest land. As for the county, I will have to check. Jeep should be ready to go by then too.

ooo, that sounds like a call out. John, if you make it be aware of what might come out of Dan's mouth and make sure your kid's ears are covered.

Here is a reminder, turn up your volumes and pay attention at 8 seconds just make sure you aren't at work

Dan, you need to get up that rock for all the Jeeps out there. Can't let a Yota show us up.

Giani I did get registered today. Not sure if Wife is going to attend the Friday night meal but we can figure this our later. Looking forward to helping you guys out on that weekend. Any idea on counts for the Chinaman's run. Would like to get a number so my other helpers will know. Not sure if they are going to attend the meal on Firday night but I am almost sure he is running Chinaman's as a helper for me. Besides someone has to go up the left side.

Friday I should be back in town from work around 4:00pm so if you need anything, let me know.

Awesome Doug. I got your registration. Thanks!

Right now there are only 8 people registered for Chinaman. We need some more WF support! We had over 20 for the April fools run where are all the Wranglers for this event?

If anyone cannot afford the registration cost shoot me a PM we would rather have you be there than not and remember this is going to fund rescue missions that will literally take women and children out of the hands of their captors and place them in safe houses. We can make a huge difference together and we are almost at our fund raising goal for the event. If we had a full Chinaman Gulch and Carnage Canyon trail list we would hit our goal.

Here's that video Doug just mentioned. This isn't about paying to wheel it's about making a difference and getting with some friends and having a good time while doing it.

27 Million Stones - YouTube

Plus our raffle and silent auction items are over a $5k value, which means some people are going to be walking away with some pretty sweet stuff for supporting us. I would love it if this forum was the single most represented group. Let me know through a PM or email if you can't afford the full donation amount and we will make it work to have you out there.

Thank you guys for helping to make a difference!

I'm hoping I can still make it to this event. I snapped the hi steer arm off my kingpin Dana 60 over the weekend. No one from here to Denver seems to have any replacement studs long enough to reach through the btf steering arm. Also, I need to fabricate a new drag link (or have fabricated as I don't have a mig..... The one that is on there now is a couple inches too long and most likely the cause of this breakage.... Not happy... I may need to replace the knuckles as on of the holes is going to get damaged a bit to extract the final bolt/ez out combo

Call hi-strength bolt in Denver...they should be able to locate one if they don't have one long enough in stock.
