Hello....my kid and I already had plans for Mt Princeton this weekend but I spoke with her and she wants to make an adjustment. We cannot do any of the trails as we will be swimming but we still want to come to Vendor Village on Saturday PM. I explained what it was and she s
Was extremely excited that a bunch of guys that share our interests in Jeeps and Off Roading in general had hearts for this sort of thing.
Will there be somewhere we can make a donation?
Looking forward to meeting some of the guys on here and from all over.
My yj is finally fixed..... thinking of driving down to bv now and trying to pop up a tent and cross my fingers I can still register in the am... choice #1, carnage, choice #2 chinaman... if anyone sees this and thinks it may be a go, let me know. I can also head out in the morning, but thinking tonight is a safer bet...
Got home about 12 last night no problems. Thanks for the event G and thank u to all the good people who showed up and made it a fantastic time. We had a blast and will absolutely b there next year. Can't wait to c y'all again soon
Great trip on Chinamans too. Everyone got through without any breakage. The only noises i heard was Johns drive shaft, my tires rubbing fender flares, and skidplates scraping rocks. Great time!!! Next year we need more support from all of us here on the forum. Giani put alot into this on his own time. Lets all do what we can to make it better next year.

Set Them Free Off Road 2013 was a huge success. A big thanks to all of our sponsors and our participants. Because of you guys we raised over $10,000 that will go toward rescuing victims that are being abused for a profit. Not only did we make a huge difference in some peoples life it seems to me that everyone had a great time. Reports from the other trails were all positive except a couple of issues with a full size truck on Iron Chest.
Andrew, sucked to see that shaft go and glad to hear you got down OK. It was my first time on Carnage and it was a lot rougher than I had expected but made it through with only a slightly bent tie-rod and I think that was the only real damage from our group but I still had a great time. That waterfall before the v-notch is un-real. Everyone had to winch after Josh including the Ultra4 buggies.
I do need to announce the "4-play award" given by Josh from Crane Hi-Clearance to Ben in the Home Grown Racing Buggie for this spectacular maneuver on the v-notch approach and I was told he drove that back to right side up. IMG_3756.jpg | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
I didn't take that many pics but I have a ton of video I need to go through and compile. Here are some of what I have can't wait to see from the other trails and more from Carnage.
Thank you! We'll have to run it again.... Ad get in a Penrose trip this summer as well. I've got a pretty significant parts list that's about to get ordered to hopefully minimize the likelihood of another break in the immediate future... I do have to say though, I'm pretty stoked it was the shaft this time and not steering again! A least I could drive it off the trail. If you know who it was that spotted me off the trail, let me know. I need to get them a case of beer. 2wd solo out of that was NOT going how I would have liked.
