Mike, Oldguy, I'll see you at 1030 in Deckers at the main Parking lot. It looks like we are the only 3 going on this one. I will see you there.

Colo- TJ, OldGuy, I'm sorry I was so looking forward to this day trip but I have to do some work at the rental property tomorrow morning, sorry I was so stoked to get out with some other Jeeps and play! Please don't hold this against me lets get together some time in the near future. )-;

Chad, did a run up to Deckers just now and everything was clear and dry so I don't know where the snow line was. The trails should be fine so if you still want to come down I'm still up for it. I don't know what kind of crap you might hit on the way down so I'll leave it up to you.

No worries Mike. We'll get another one together. As a matter of fact there is a boatload of us going to China Wall on Sunday if you want to go. check out the China Wall thread.

Ed, it looks like it's just the two of us. Should be fun.. I have my Camera packed so we can show the others what they missed.

Oh, seven mile is up by Boulder. This trip has been all over the place. What we're doing at this point is the Gulches along Wildcat canyon. It is basically across the Platte river from FS211 that you took last week. It's not as many little rock like China Wall just some big ones but not as bit as the Wall. It is my favorite set of trails in this neck of the woods and the scenery is breathtaking. If you are interested you are more than welcome to join us. We'll be leaving Deckers about 10:30. Leave a message if you decide to come. I'll check in the morning before I leave.

Morning, MT, if you're coming down on 126 it's right at the junction with 67. There's the cafe, the outfitter, and the liquor store. We're meeting in that parking lot. If you get to Deckers we'll find each other, it just ain't that big.

Yeah, the fishing there must be pretty good. When I go north on 67 from there every pulloff has at least one car in it.

Thank god for lockers! After I left you guys that road became almost impassable. Down in the canyon there is several creek crossings. The ice was melted out in the middle and the holes were about 2 feet deep with about 5 inches of heavy ice. I broke through at one and was jammed stuck. I put in low range engaged my lockers, gave it some gas the front tired grabbed and pulled me out. Whew....I was along way from help and nothing to hook too. All in all was just a small glitch. The day was a blast and I am ready to go again. Thanks

I am so glad you enjoyed my favorite trail My favorite part was blasting through the snowdrifts on the way out Thanks to both you guys for a really great day! Denny, you may take revenge on the trail of your choice... say Slaughterhouse Gulch in 2WD only?
